Rust Removal

Parts Finishing Group specializes in solving customer rust removal problems at all ten PFG plants in the USA and Mexico. PFG can remove rust using any one of several methods depending on the part configuration, part specification and the fragility of the part. These methods/processes include the following alternatives:

  • Run parts on belt washer with special chemicals.
  • Run parts on auger washer with special chemicals.
  • Run parts on barrel phos line using alkaline bath.
  • Run parts on barrel phos line using acid bath.
  • Tumble blast parts on wheelabrator lines.
  • Shot blast parts on spinner hanger lines.
  • Shot blast parts in blast room line.
  • Barrel tumble parts with abrasives
  • Vibratory finish parts with abrasives.
