Paint Removal

Thermal Chemical Parts Stripping Service
PFG operates four Kolene stripping lines at its plants in Detroit, Michigan - Kendallville, Indiana - Chihuahua, Mexico and Queretaro, Mexico. The Kolene process uses 900° F. liquid slat to remove coatings from ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This process effectively dissolves coatings in minutes in a very friendly environmental manner. The salt bath simply converts organic paint into an organic by product: Carbon Dioxide, nitrogen and water.

Burn Off Oven Stripping
PFG operates three burn off oven lines in Detroit and Vassar Michigan. The burn off ovens run at 1200° F. This process also effectively removes coatings wherever the structural integrity of the part is less important.
