PFG has a stand-alone honing and drilling company called Michigan Hone & Drill (MHD) located in Madison Heights, Michigan. As a result of MHD's customers requesting that MHD take full responsibility for hole geometry; MHD began providing deep hole drilling service starting in 1992.

Since 1992, MHD's deep hole/gun drilling business has expanded rapidly. MHD now has 12 deep hole drilling spindles. Drilling capabilities in size range from .06" to 2.00" diameter and lengths up to 98".

Drilling Machinery: Includes two spindle Eldorado, Pratt & Whitney and Dadson drills.

Tooling: Complete set of carbide tipped drills in stock for quick service. MHD has complimentary honing tools for jobs requiring both honing and drilling.
